TICK, TICK, GIN O’CLOCK

We have been using the RGKit Play module systems for just over 3 months now and I have to say they literally are game changing when it comes to producing video content that looks slick as hell and packed with professional movements.

I had been asked to collab with the company and create a video of choice which showcases the rotator and plugger systems. Being a lover of shooting all things food I opted to create an alcoholic beverage advert.

Bombay Sapphire was my drink of choice and I wanted to make the video in the vein of vintage magic. I have dabbled with VFX work in the past and thought this was the perfect time to brush up my skills and try some new techniques too.

I used the rotator rig for the BEV and spinning bottle shots and to bring the wooden hand armatures to life. The plugger system was used to produce a flickering light to add some atmosphere and depth.

VFX and sound FX work was added in the edit to create a sense of magic and fantasy.
